Brad Stokes
Brad Stokes grew up in Lexington, North Carolina, where he spent his high school years cruising around in a Camaro and dreaming big. After high school, life took him on quite the journey—he spent nearly a decade in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, working as a bartender, waiting tables and serving his community as a firefighter and EMT. Those years shaped his sense of duty, grit, and resilience.
Today, Brad lives in Columbia, South Carolina, where he practices law. Whether it’s in the courtroom or the quiet moments in between, he’s always been drawn to storytelling and reflection. Red Camaro Summer —his first book—is the product of that calling. Inspired by the turning point of approaching fifty, Brad began looking back on the winding roads that brought him here: the good, the hard, the painful, the meaningful.
Through writing, he’s found a new way to share the lessons and moments that have shaped his life. He hopes readers find something in these pages that resonates—something real, something honest, maybe even something familiar.
